Directions for use

Special care should be taken when using this meter. Improper use may cause electric shock or damage to the meter. In use, the usual safety procedures should be followed and the safety measures specified in the user manual should be fully complied with. In order to make full use of the function of the instrument and ensure safe operation, please read and follow the instructions carefully.

Follow the safety operation guide to ensure safe use of the instrument.

Properly used and protected, meters will give you satisfactory service.

1. When using the meter, the user must follow the standard safety rules:

· Universal protection against electric shock

· Prevent misuse of meters

2. After receiving the instrument, check whether it is damaged during transportation.

3. After storage and shipment under poor condition, check and confirm whether the instrument is damaged.

4. The pen must be in good condition. Before use, check whether the pen insulation damage, wire wire is bare.

1. When used, the correct function and range must be used.

2. Do not measure in excess of the indicated value of the protection range of each range.

3. Do not touch the top of the pen (metal part) when the meter is connected to the measuring circuit.

4. When measuring, if the measured voltage is higher than 60V DC or 30V AC (effective value), keep your finger behind the stylus finger guard.

5. If the terminal voltage exceeds 400VDC or 400VAC, do not measure the voltage.

6. Do not measure the resistance, line on and off, and capacitor gear.

7. In the resistance and line on-off test range, be careful to avoid connecting the meter to the voltage source.

8. Do not use this meter near explosive gas, steam or dust.

9. If you notice any abnormality or malfunction of the instrument, stop using it.

10. The meter should not be used unless the bottom case is fully fastened in place.

11. Do not store or use the meter in direct sunlight, high temperature, high humidity.

Usage Function Description

1. Ac/DC voltage/frequency/resistance/connectivity test

1.1 Connect the meter pen to the input port of the meter and press the POWER/SEL key to start the meter. The meter displays the working state in AUTO mode.

1.2 Connect the pen meter in parallel to the circuit, power supply and resistance meter under test to automatically identify AC voltage, DC voltage and resistance, and automatically display the frequency value of AC signal.

1.3 When the measured resistance is less than 50 ohms, the built-in buzzer sounds.

1.4 Read the measurement results from the display screen and view the dynamic changes of the values through the simulation bar.

Warning:

● Do not input voltage higher than 400V, show higher voltage values are possible but possible

There is a risk of damaging the meter.

● Take extra care when measuring high voltages to avoid electric shock.

● Disconnect the pen from the circuit under test after completing all measurement operations.

2. Diode detection, capacitance detection, connectivity detection

2.1 Connect the meter pen to the input port of the meter, and press the POWER/SEL key to start the device.

2.2 Press the POWER/SEL key to switch to the connectivity check.

● Built-in buzzer sounds when the measured resistance is less than 50 ω.

2.3 Press the POWER/SEL key to switch to diode detection.

2.4 ● Forward measurement: the red test bar is connected to the positive pole of the tested diode, the black test bar is connected to the negative pole of the tested diode, which shows the approximation of the forward voltage drop of the diode;

● Reverse measurement: the red test bar is connected to the negative pole of the diode under test, the black test bar is connected to the positive pole of the diode under test, which shows "OL";

● A complete diode test includes forward and reverse measurements. If the measurement results do not match the above, the diode is broken.

2.5 Press the POWER/SEL key again to switch to the capacitor detection.

● Connect the two test rods to the measured capacitance, and display the measured capacitance value on the LCD screen.

● When measuring the capacitance, it is necessary to confirm that all the power supplies of the circuit under test have been turned off and all the capacitors have been completely discharged. The capacitance on line can not be measured.

3. Determine the zero live line of the socket and test the live body of the wall

3.1 Press the POWER/SEL key.

3.2 When the non-contact voltage sensing area of the instrument is close to the live line of AC voltage (less than 5mm), the arc type light bar on the instrument screen will light up. The closer the arc type light bar is to the live line of AC voltage, the higher the value of the arc type light bar will be, and the buzzer will emit a higher frequency alarm sound.
